::Nature Photo Friday::

Each Friday I will post a nature photo from our adventures of the week. The photo will represent a moment that I want to remember, to take in the feelings of that outdoor experience. If you are inspired to do the same, share a link to your nature photo in the comments. There is so much beauty in the natural world to share, I hope you will join me!

{This week the kids and I have been on the hunt for acorns and acorn caps. We have just a few oak trees on our property and yet, acorns and caps are certainly in abundance. We all have some craft projects of our own planned, and I am looking forward to working on those this weekend. I’m not entirely sure what the kids have up their sleeves – there was mention of making an owl…Whatever they land on, I always enjoy seeing their creativity flourish with these nature inspired projects. I would like to make some fall garlands for the house (similar to the pictures in soulemama’s autumn walks post) and continue adding to my collection of colorful, felted acorns (which, shameless self promotion here, I also sell on etsy). I love that acorns provide such a simple way to bring a bit of the nature of the season in.}
